That was a classic! I remember Triumph talking to a pregnant lady asking about her child. She said it was a boy and he asked when he was due. She gave a date and he replied something to the effect of "Mark that on your calendar because that's the last time he'll ever see a woman's genitalia!" Rob P.S. I think they are putting out a DVD of his stuff from the Conan show....not for sure.

First thing's first, no, Star Wars doesn't suck. I like all of them. Even tried to talk my wife into letting me paint her minivan up like a Star Speeder (complete with R2 unit on the roof) (BTW, she said no, and now the minivan's gone...). Star Trek is good too. Guess I'm one of few that likes both. Anyway, Chairman, check out 5 Year Mission. These geeks are making new episodes of the original crew, starting at season 4. They even have Rodenberry Clan approval. Freaky. Hilarious too.

| Not even Leonard Maltin ( Practically George's sidekick-critic) could convince me that part III is going to be worth my while.. I must say, I feel sorry for Lucas, he waited too long.. Even though he has lots of money, he's lost his initiative he had prior to EP I. | ||

| I'm a Star Wars geek. I'm afraid I won't click that link because I don't want ANY spoilers. Episode 1: pretty lame story (Annakin is a TERRIBLE actor) but some of the best lightsaber fighting Episode 2: First half seems like Episode 1 in sucky story and cheeseball acting, then the clone wars begin, true star wars fans wet their pants. When like 50 jedi pull out lightsabers at once, I go crazy. Still, I can't help but think Lucas lost it...if he had it at all. Empire Strikes Back and RotJ weren't directed by him (I don't know about A New Hope. Some geek I am) | ||

| I gotta agree with most of what Pants said. I think that Ep 1 had some good Saber fighting. I liked the clones in Ep 2. As for the series in general, I liked the original trilogy from the 70s. The new ones just don't have that gravity. It's too "light". They NEED that dark side, that call to evil... no monsters (like that red-faced sucka), they need humans gone to the dark side... people who have fallen to the dark side for it's power, and aren't afraid to use it. I mean, Darth Vader made the original series... gotta love a guy who repays disrespect by strangling the sucker right then and there. | ||

| In a way, if the series is what I think it is (that being, the story of Vader, and not of Luke, Leia, and the rest of the gang) then, it all fits together... at first, he starts out innocent, lighthearted, cheesy lovesick fool... and eventually, like DS said, the evil half-machine man who strangles people for any and every reason possible. ![]() my $0.02 | ||

| Out of all the new ones, the third one is the one you should see. Lucas paced it all wrong so now there's going to be a bazillion things happening to tie the new ones and the old ones together. And hopefully it will be through badassery, not Anakin crying about things. | ||

I can't say I feel sorry for him in the least. First because of all the money he has (must suck hard to be that loaded........ actually it probably does , just different than how it sucks for us "poor" folks), and secondly because he is (reportedly) such a bastard to work for. I understand wanting your vision to come across as you see it, but you gotta treat the others involved with respect. He is basically just an overgrown child that whines when he doesn't get his way. I am still going to see Episode III though...... for the special effects.

| So far, not that impressed with the first two. In fact, the first one nearly made me swear off Star Wars altogether (Jar-Jar Binks anyone). The only moment I enjoyed was seeing E.T.s holding a seat on the Counsel. The second one I thought would be darker, more on Lukes conversion to the Dark Side. Instead we get a "Chick Flick" disguised as a Sfi-Fi Action/Fantasy movie. Bummer. The third one I'll probably go see (Still hoping for a good one) out of habit. Who knows, maybe I'll be pleasently suprised. Although to hold you over, the original three are being released on DVD this Sept I believe...... | ||
