| Apex Master Tech  | lol that guy's in an awful good mood for throwing a rod... i was excited the other day. in my city, there's corvettes all over the place (midlife crisis town...) and i had yet to see a SINGLE 'vette that wasn't an automatic. What's the point of buying a sports car without a manny tranny? Anyway, finally saw one 2 days ago at the dentist's office. | |

| Decept-Hoe-Con  | That was to funny. In response to the why buy a sports car with a manual tranny, my 350z is a auto only because I drive it everywhere. If it was a secondary car then I would have opted for a stick. Sticks are cool but when your in the snow with a light and fast car it can be a grueling task going up hill with a stick. My car has the auto stick thing wich is cool but not the same. | |

| Mystical Schwinn Guru  | On the subject of vehicles, Jimz I saw something I thought I would never see, and I should have gotten pix of it. I saw with my very own two eyes a Hummer H2 covered in mud, mud all over it, followed by a couple more older HUMMVVs. BTW that video was hilarious ROFL | |

| Mystical Schwinn Guru | Idiot should have known better, stock bottom end on a Mustang Cobra @ 600hp = bad The Vipers that raced at Le Mans and Rolex 24hours, Sebring, all those endurance races, stock engine block. I think they were stock bottom end too, and they won races, I think an overall victory at 24H Le Mans and a couple Sebrings and a few Rolexes. I should show that to my high-and-mighty Mustang friend who now works at Publix, has a 66' Mustang coupe with a 302 and a Tremec 5 speed on the way. He'll love that video  | |

| Apex Elite Expert Tech | Whats really funny is he is all psyched on beating the Z06. I f you watched the vid very closely you will notice the Z06 backed off and got in the same lane as the Stang. Why? Look closely and you will see a SUV that was in the Vettes lane. Not even close to a fare race. Maybe that guy should look over his video. J-dogg thumbsup on the muddy hummer! But my truck NEVER see's mud. | |

| Apex Advanced Techie  | My best friend has a base V6 Stang and I am starting to hate him. Its a automatic and he thinks he can beat EVERYONE just because he has one. He knows nothing about cars other than sound systems but he trys as hard as he can to make people think otherwise. My GF has a stock 99 Dodge Neon thats an automatic and she beats him off the line everytime, its funny as hell. Its even better when I beat them both with my 99 Cougar........its a stick ;-) | |

| Apex Elite Expert Tech | LOL! Thing is, if your seriously gonna race, atleast have some major mods done to your engine so it can handle it. It's the way they market off vehicles now, "oh this truck can off road like a monster truck" People will believe it and do it. Sure, A stock vette is Specifically built for moderate racing, well, not racing but it can handle it atleast. I saw a Mitsubishi Eclipse VS a BMW clip once and guess who blew there engine....the Eclipse, His was reallllyyyy bad though, Pistons fell out under the car along with Wrist pins. | |

Beautiful, i have a manual '98 plymoth neon, the SOHC. 170HP with the exhaust leaky like it is, eats ricers for breakfast. Never gone up against a 'Stang, but beaten a few auto Cameros. As for 'Stang vs 'Vette... screw em both. I'm a mopar man, Viper SRT-10 all the way.  They'll probably be coming out with a hemi powered one sometime. Although the '05 mustang looks pretty sweet, with the throwback front end, i'm still gonna wait for the '06, '07 (whenever they actually built the F'n thing...) Charger SRT-8. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
