A cheap non-reinforced* cutting disc shattering from my dremel and attacking me ever so nicely.

* Just a warning, I recommend the reinforced discs as they wear down instead of shattering

When dimantelling my old ps1 i had the bright idea to put the power on, that one hurt alot, bounced off the walls a bit too. Never going to do something so stupid again.

Many cuts, scrapes, a few shocks, numerous soldering iron burns and a part of my thumb sliced clean off from a sharp case.

There was a nick on one of the wires going to a cold cathode, didn't realize it and was trying to readjust it. That's like, 500 Volts or something around there? The bad part, I did it again. Dope!

My computer taught me the real difference between AC and DC current. The difference is that DC hurts a hell of a lot more. 120V AC tingles for a few seconds. 12V DC can light your skin on fire (yes, I had quite a burn on my finger).

Wow, I feel lucky reading all this. The worst I've gotten is a ton of cuts, and a couple of minor burns from touching heated items from soldering (or from touching heatshrink right after shrinking it).

i've even stuck my finger in a fan (accidently) and I didn't even get hurt!!! I have this theory that i'm complete accident un-prone. I plan to test this theory by driving down the freeway on the wrong side of the road on the way home from work... Wish me luck!

Can't say I've injured myself so far .... although I did get that "burning bacon" smell while fiddling with the output for a neon string invertor (160V AC) ... & I also got a bit of a jolt (240V ac) when fiddling with the power switch on my Amiga project.

Boy I feel lucky, just minor cuts on my fingers, and getting shocked, but thats no big deal. I used to be a Electronic Technician for a T.V. blah, blah place and got zapped from the flyback transformer for a 80" big screen, 30,000 volts Youch! 10,000 v per picture tube. Now if you want to talk about moddin' cars, or war injuries thats a whole different story or I should say Novel.

That sound very similar to my experience.......I took the back cover off my old 17 inch monitor to try and get it to work.........I had it plugged in, while shaking and movin different parts around........ZAPP!!!.......sent me flying accross the bedroom floor......I won't do that again........safer just to go out and buy one........

Well for some reason that is still yet to be determined I reached inside a PSU while it was plugged in and powered on. That was a very nice little experience. Also, yet again for an undetermined reason, I decided to reach for my soldering iron without looking. That metal part opposite the side of the cord on it......yeah, that's not the handle. In case you were wondering. I also slipped up with a dremel and cut halfway through my fingernail. Also the occasional cuts and scrapes.

An inch long gash that cut down to the bone along my index finger on my right hand.

Stepped on a mobo by accident, was upside down and ended up piercing the skin with several tiny holes. Talk about a bloody mess.

Slipped dremel took off the top of the knuckle on my right thumb.

6 inch cut along my arm from really shoddy aluminum.

And the creme de la creme.. being attacked by a 3DFX Voodoo 5500, putting an inch or two long gash along the palm of my right hand. Was a pain in the ass to install into the case I had at the time.

Blood, sweat and tears go into these boxes sometimes.
Unfortunately more blood than the other two.
