Out of curiousity, I went through the first page of members with the highest reputation points and came across a result that some of you may find surprising (especially you n00bs that have been flamed recently). Of the top five rep holders other than staff members, 2 of these are considered by some to be the biggest a-holes on PR.......(you know who you are

) Why do you suppose that is? I have my own theories, but I am interested in everyone else's opinion on this.

They beat up the n00bs and make them give them rep. lol no they just tell things how they are, and there is nothing more respectable than someone who tells things how they see them.

The rep system is kinda flawed in the sense of how the members decide to give rep. At least that's my opinion.

That would be a valid point if the n00bs' rep giving actually did anything, but any rep given by n00bs with less than 100 posts (or is it 50?) don't count for/against anyway.

Just a quick warning, posting just to get your post count up will only serve to get you a rep similar to the one Banana Boy used to have and is frowned upon. Now if your post are useful, that is another story altogether.

Anything less than 50 posts, and you have to have 10 points of rep to influence others. I'll find the post by Duck on the matter

Go to the Members List, then click on the Reputation header at the top of that column to sort by rep, or posts to sort by posts.

And btw, you are ON that list

And I am sure you can guess the other.

(for clarification purposes, I did say considered by SOME, not all)
