Just the BA-745 2.1 speaker sys that gateway was selling at the christmas before I bought my comp.. 2 christmas's ago..

They're alright.. not BOOM, but not tinny.. imho, pretty close to being just right.. only better ones for audio *quality* I've seen are the Bose 2.1's I saw at their store in the mega mall.. every other set I can think of just focuses on BOOM, distortion be damned

Logitech Z-560 4.1 with only the front 2 channels hooked up, 53Wx2 RMS for the components and 185W RMS for the sub. Sounds pretty damn spanky good to me and also has lots of BOOM.

Logitech Z640 http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm?pa...9&languageid=1
it doesn't get used must because i spend a lot of time on voice coms and when i'm not on voice coms it's too late to blare them....i'm very happy with them though, the sub purrs like a cat and it's got the clearest sound i've ever heard for 50quid.

My head set - http://www.plantronics.com/europe_un...eId=cat1200104 only a couple days after buying this my friend finds a 5.1 headset for about a tenner more

I've got (read and weep) 2 dolby 5.1 speaker sets hooked up to my rig. And an extra 500 watts bass-box.

Yes I'm an audiophile.....

Altec-Lansing ATP-3s and SoundStorm. Against an Audigy, I picked this.

I've had these speakers since I purchased my rig :
Creative Inspire T5400 5.1 Speakers
I just got this sound card last week on sale at Circuit City for $49.00:
Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy LS PCI Sound Card

Sounds pretty good when playing the DVDs or MP3......

Bought a refurb Cambridge 5.1 DTT2200 set about three years ago for $68; I use those along with the onboard sound on my Asus. I hate crappy sound, but this budget setup provides clear enough surround that I've never been tempted to upgrade. Goes louder than I'd ever turn it up to in an apartment building anyway!

I've got onboard sound and a set of Cabridge Inspire 5.1's, but it's also connected to my 50" TV and my home theater.
