Job Interview Tomorrow!!!!

The one thing I wanted most for my birthday I got: a call from the local staffing agency Remedy, they want me to go to DRS @ 10:45 AM Monday for an interview, if I get it I'll probably be doing soldering, wish me luck guys!!!!

I liked the informality of my job interview:

*walk into store*
Me: "You have any IBM Model M keyboards?"
Owner: "You mean the old clicky ones? I love those!"
*digs one up for me*
Me: "Thanks"
Owner: "Those are some great keyboards."
Me: "Yeah, they're great if you have carpal tunnel. More resistance to the keys."
Owner: "I see."
Me: "So.... need any help around here?"
Owner: "Do you know how to turn off items in startup?"
Me: "You mean msconfig? yeah."
Owner: "I'll give you $6 an hour cash. Come in on monday."
Me: "Okay, cool."

GRRRRRRR OMG F*CKIN' PICKY BASTARDS I DIDN'T GET IT

they said some bullsh*t like 'oh well you're too agressive' BS im not agressive enough, i walked in and instantly knew what was going on, I could have put something together right on the spot, i guess 5 or 6 applications a day is too agressive, maybe I should just join the service, can't even get a f*cking job at mcdonalds

Ya I have considered the Air Force, always had fighter pilot eyes, I have the aptitude for it that's for sure.

I'm really not sure, but I have been told by many that I have it. I don't know, it's kind of a gut feeling.

I did take an aptitude test for the military two years ago and got like 74, good test scores for my age group are between 30 and 40.

Btw, on MAGE ASVAB (USAF scaled), I averaged 86. Most people know how much my aptitude scores paid off in the end.

When I was applying for the Coast Guard Academy circa 1982, I took a simple depth perception test [which I failed miserably] which indicated I do not have 'fighter pilot eyes'.

It was a series of five small o-rings mounted in a line in this lucite block and one o-ring was just slightly deeper than the other four. There were like ten lines of five and the lucite block was tinted red.

You coulda fooled me. They all looked the same depth. No wonder I can't shoot a foul shot.

you have to be in the service for 4 years before you can become a figher pilot, i may be mistaken but im pretty sure.
