| Awesome. Still, I'm just gonna go ahead and say what everybody else is thinking: What kind of hardware will you need to run this freakin' thing? As _Sexy_Pants observed in another thread, "Now programmers are lazy and don't optimize their crap." The clip looks great, but I'm not sure I want to have to sell organs just for the experience... | ||

According to the speaker, the previous high-end cards were only rendering it at 2-5 FPS - The 6800 is the first card actually capable of rendering that engine in real time, at a decent framerate. I'm afraid, J-D that your mighty 9000 would be measuring that game in frames per MINUTE. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| shaders and displacement maps dont look any better than HL2....its all geometry......and lots more of it. making your own levels look like that with 2 million polygons isnt tooo practical but it does look bad ass. Valve get their butts in gear?....how about pixar. | ||
