8:45PM look toward Cape Canaveral they are shooting off an Atlas 2AS with a Japanese Superbird 6 communications satelitte. Clear night so it should be beautiful!!

The only launches I have seen are from Vandenburg Air Force Base but I would expect this your launch to be more impressive. Enjoy it guys

ahh poopstain! i missed it... i was putting a shirt on to go outside and my mom yells that she sees it...i stumble out side with a shirt half on and was too late!

dunno if i would have seen it from here, but i didn't know about it until now anyway so oh well. i really need to get out there and see one close up. moving to Tampa on the 30th, anyone know how far it is from there to KSC?
