Since the site went down, a lot of stuff must have happened, so whats new?

I got me a new Laptop (Asus) and a 23" monitor HANNSpree (1080p) for it....

4Gb ram
512Mb GeForce 9800M GS
320Gb HDD

It is a lot faster than my old one....yay!
I guess that's all hardware related news I got...

I got a Viewsonic 24" 1080p monitor when Costco had them for $200. Just couldn't resist it.

I'm so glad we're back. It was suggested to me that people might act different if I wasn't around, well I didn't see that happen. You know who you are, so BITE ME. It wasn't my 2 cents that was hurting PCApex.
That said.... I still love my Pimps.
Of course, I was still around, just kept my mouth shut.
I need to tell GrandPa that, I did think of him on his birthday. And j-dogg you looked like a rock-star.

Mom's always welcome. I am finally getting close to finishing the mod project on my house. Hopefully then I will have some cash for some cool computer bling.

Just glad to see our forum slowly come back to life.

Swapped out my 8800GT for a GTX260. Not a huge difference in performance, but I raked in $190 in the nVidia / ATi class-action suit someone started, and had nothing else to do with the cash.

Fixed a relative's computer, and helped her buy a new lappy, so I've got a pair of old Pentiums sitting around as payment. One of them has a GeForce 5200 card (woo-hoo! ) and I've got a broken VHS / DVD player, so I'm going to try to build a HTPC from those parts, and anything else I can get my grubby hands on (donations, anyone?).

And, of course, I'm still looking to find a job in the Philly area. DC is fine, but the wife & kids need family, and those are in Philly. And the schools are better ...

I got a part-time job at the local Sheriff's Office in IT Dept. Bought a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP (it's no GTO, but close enough for now). Also built a new PC... Q9550, P5Q Pro, 4GB DDR2 1066, GTX 260, Hanns-G 28" screen.
