I'm gonna try it. I'm planning to build a phase change unit and install it in the bottom of a Lian Li V2000B, along with a water loop in the top section for gpu/nb. I'll build the phase unit from scratch and then install it in the Lian Li. Time is going to be the hard part; I'm still waiting on some misc. parts for the phase unit (cap tube, suction line, etc.), but hopefully they will arrive this week.

I doubt if I'll have time to install a complete working pc hardware, but the phase unit will be working and tuned with results posted in the build log.

I've been wanting to do this for a while.... getting the email about this contest was just the kick in the pants I needed to get moving on it

To give the contestants more time to complete their mods were going to extend the competition until September 1st at 8pm central time. Were also hoping more contestants will enter up, as of right now everyone will be winning a prize and some will even win 2 prizes. Theres nothing wrong with that but it would be nice for this to actually be a competition, so if you were holding out before because of time constraints, consider this your opportunity.

I think that was an editing error -- the competition was originally scheduled to end on the 20th, I think, but it was extended to 1 Sep (thank god). So I think the competition folk just missed editing that line.

OK… I'm a little behind… and dense… I did miss something. This is my notice that I’m building a case that’s a cube… not that original but… it’s the Allspark (from a major motion picture). You know, a cube with blue glowy things.

Okay, I'm posting my intention to enter in this thread. I remember reading that before I entered. In all the excitement, it slipped my mind. I'm modding my case to fit on a bookshelf and look like books.

Well I'm behind on the times. I didn't realize yesterday was a Holiday or the 1st. From what I've seen there are ony 3 cases completed and (1) keyboard Mod done. I'll notify the Judges and see who they pick as winners. For the rest of you I'll extend the competition for the consulation prizes for another (2) weeks.
