Default The joys of buying stuff in forums...

Now, to preface this, I am getting a little concerned about a item I bought on another forums trading section. Has nothing to do with PCApex...

On May 20'th, I dibed on an item, we exchanged shipping addresses, and a USPS money order was sent by me to them on May 21'st. I have heard nothing back from them since. I sent them a PM on the 21's that the MO was sent, and the deal was they would ship when they go the MO. I sent another PM to them tonight (kinda late) asking if they had recieved the MO. No response yet...

Now, on the 21'st of May, I bought an item from our own Twizted off the trading post here. I sent the payment off on the 22 I think, and I got a PM from him on the 27'th saying it was received, and the item would be on it's way within a day or so. That is how a sale should go. I know the item I bought will be here in a few days.

I sent one payment one state away, nothing yet. No PM, nothing. The next day I send one 5 states or so away, and the item is en route to me already. Does not seem quite right.

Ahh well, if I don't get my item from the other guy, I have an address, can take a couple of days off... Maybe me and Guido will take a little ride to the West... I will be at the Post Office Friday to see if the MO has been cashed. Guido is up for a road trip.

Just venting a bit. Hopefully I will get my other item soon as well.

I just checked the sale thread at the other site, has been changed from pending to sold, so I think the person just has poor customer service skills. Pretty sure it will be sent now.

So hopefully in a few days this post will be pointless, except as an example of how communication is the key to a good sale.

Remember you might have caught him at a bad spell in his life...... But the keyword in that sentence is might, so yeah, he's probably just a tad slow

Got a PM today that is has been shipped!

Got the CPU and hard drive in today! Too bad my RAM went crazy, will toss the CPU in, but the real overclocking will start next week with the new RAM.

Twizted is a very fast trading Pimp... Thanks.
