Customer request - old nasty yellow computer.

Weird requests like the following are becoming to common place - I think I need a therapist.

I just recently built a el cheapo celeron system for a friend of my grandmothers. This friend tells her friend that I can build PCs and shes happy with hers so low and behold I get another job. Go visit said old person (no offence to old peole :-) - I do the usual "what do you want to do with your computer" and discover the cheapy celeron system will do her just fine. I dont PUSH celerons (for all you AMD guys) but I come across all kinds if people willing to spend $1000 to $1500 when a $500 computer will meet their needs for years to come - I cant oversell a computer when theres no need......I would just feel bad selling someone WAY more PC then they well ever need.

Anyway, back to the story. This lady is using an old pentium 233 in a desktop case and thats what she wants again. Hmmm.....well I can definitely do desktop style case (carry a few pics around in a folder) but they next request shot me down. "Can you make it the same color as all my other stuff It has to be this yellowish color...." - WHAT THE HELL......thats gonna be tough. I am not willing to take her old case and hack on it for hours to make everything fit and I hate to do that cause this lady took care of her PC and it runs pretty good for what it is. I quick glance at Newegg gives my the option of an IN-WIN desktop case but its definitely white......anybody have leads on a micro-atx YELLOWISH case......uhhh.

Anybody have a couch and a notepad??

Ha that's great. Maybe if you leave the case out on your porch for a month

What's so hard about painting a case? Not that I've ever done a case before, but spray paint is rather easy to work with as long as you know what you're doing. Need a custom color? Well, surely the auto store can do that for you.

Better yet, you could have Insomniac paint it for you and add some of his little touches
