Well I managed to sell some stuff and save up and now i have $268 dollars. I'll have 288 by next week. At first I was saving up for the 9600xt video card but then I became more interested in an Apple IPOD. I guess I feel more of the need for that than the video card which I don't currently NEED that much. Well either item is a luxury but I figured I currently wouldn't doing anything that needed a new video card so yea. The Ipod i wanna get is the 15g one from best buy. I have a friend that his brother works at best buy and he said he can get me one for 259 w/ the service plan so I guess that is pretty good since they are $299 retail.

After I get the ipod I'll be saving up for a 9800pro.

Yeah IPODS are great.....Ive always wanted one but just can let go of the cash. I CONSTANTLY have PC access so I opted for a 20GB slim portable hard drive - alot cheaper at $120. My CD player in my truck plays MP3s - so I can burn 150ish songs on 1 CD. Dont have alot of use for one really but I still drool. Great product.

watch out for those batteries.......200 dollars to replace them after a year and half/2 years = Screwed. go for this: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS...314281-2656141

there are hacks online so you can play video files (you have to reencode them with included "hacks" downloaded) they are monochrome lcds but its still cool. there are also several other hacks on this thing to make custome exe's for it and store custom file types and games too!!!!! pretty cool stuff.

too bad it looks like butt party! That thing is fugly! It DOES have great functions though. like digital radio tuner, that you can record songs to mp3 right on the device. You can use it as a back up HD you can do just about anything with it. just wish it looked a little cooler.

Ya I was thinking with the service plan I'm getting for a year I'll trade my ipod in before the service is up for a new battery.
