So, what'd get during the festive month of December?

I didn't rake in too many game/techno related gifts this year, I'm married...I get to be excited about new vaccuum cleaners (no, seriously...I was stoked, our last one was terrible). However, I did get some cool stuff .

Best Buy Giftcard (can't go wrong there)
College Hoops 2K7 for XBOX360 - Really is a lot of fun, my first college b-ball game. Good atmosphere and presentation.
XBOX360 Quick Charge Kit
New entertainment stand (Sucker was a pain to carry, by myself!)
Delphi XM radio (which, when my wife bought it, my current XM radio was on the fritz...now it works perfectly...so we have to take it back , I don't like taking gifts back...especially the ones from my wife...).

Of course, I got many other wonderful gifts, like a rake and a shovel (maybe we'll get a hoe next year), a bartender's book, the new Michael Crichton novel (one of my favorite authors), a couple movies, Office Season 2 on DVD (will be getting season 1 on DVD shortly.. ), and a bunch of little stuff. My wife and I even were 'blessed' with two, self-made Vic Damone CDs from my Grandmother. Don't know who Damone is? Don't worry...I thin only my grandmother does. But, he's the 'more Italian' Italian Crooner. He's like Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, etc...My Grandmother is also Damone's #1 Fan. I'm dead serious on that, she and my Grandfather have dinner with him and his wife whenever they are in Florida (which they tend to go at least once or twice a year). She was the very first president of the Official Vic Damone Fan Club and loves him very much (second only to my grandfather of course).

So, dear friends...what did you get in loot this year?

Well. I'm a Buddhist, but two of my friends insisted on getting me something.. (so I did the same)

I got a red shirt with the Russian from Rocky saying "I will break him" (if you know me this fits real well )

and three bags of crap from woot! (I bought them myself, but its still awesome)

I'm Muslim, so this year (lunar calendar) my holiday falls on the 30th. I'll have an updated list then.

80 gig ipod, clothes, an awesome hat, and candy!

mini fridge, cash, some new clothes and some awesome japanese chef knives. Putting most of the cash into savings but with some of it i bought a 360 wireless headset to replace my failing Halo headset from my original xbox.

Powertools and books. Nice match up, don't ya think?

ohh yeah, i also added to the mini fridge a 6 pack of different import and domestic beer... along with a bottle of jagger in the freezer portion.

well, i got fifa 07 for ps2, which i really wanted, and socom 3, cuz i needed another shooting game badly. aside from games, i got some clothes, money, and a quesadilla maker. you can never go wrong with a quesadilla maker

Being a new dad, the holidays saw many, many gifts at our house.


Unfortunately, only 2 of them were for me.

A space heater and a cheese tray.

Aaaah, well, at least I'll be warm while I cut the cheese.

it'll be easy enough to find one since nobody wants them, instead of longs lines to get them you'll have insanely long load times!

A car repair book and some model road signs (gag gift) from girlfriend, some money from my parents, some clothes from my parents, books for classes from myself, Sony studio headphones from myself and a few gift cards.

Finally planning on doing something about getting my ds lite... I'm considering it a Christmas present to myself. Buy.com isn't going to fulfill my order anytime soon, so I'm going to ebay. Then, Soon... Linux on the ds... wonderful world we live in.
