In a fit of anger...

....my laptop went from one end of the room to another. Needless to say, the screen is totally cracked and I had to replace it with another one I had from a scrap latptop (scrapped one). Luckly the Hard Drive was not damaged or I would have lost a lot of data.

Lesson learned I guess!

yah I know talk about anger management lol.. I did that with my new lcd monitor; I got it replaced though..

It was a build up of one Hell of a Week and personal issues. It was on my lap before I blew my gasket....It was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I have not destroyed anything in a long time...last time was a cell phone. Hopefully this does not happen again. Anger is such a strong emotion and can take over you in an instant.

Damn.... I can't say I've ever done anything close to that with a computer.... done it with a few sculptures though. It can be VERY refreshing! Up until you remember that the client is coming to town to pick it up in less than a week.

That was pretty radical. Probably not the fault of the laptop, either. However, I cannot criticize you. Taking aggression out on inanimate objects may not explain the root of your anger, but it is better than taking your anger out on animate objects.

Nope, not the fault of the laptop, it was just at the wrong place at the wrong time, my lap. Seeing it fly was like watching a slow motion animation...and I could not get it.

One thing I do not do is strike out at animate objects (people)...that is just wrong, no matter how angry or upset someone is.

It beats punching a wall or something too. I know a fairly long list of hot tempered guys who have needed bones set or stitches...lol

I wouldnt even count the cell phone Taz, I think they're universally designed to induce destruction by owner....Can you hear me now?...lol

just yesterday some guy shot his girlfriend in a fit or rage like three blocks away from my house...Its scary what some people will do. I agree totally about taking it out on other people, that it is just plain wrong...

Better to let it out at a goodtime on an inanimate object, instead of on an animate object from a clock tower overlooking a park full of people.

I don't need a gun. A good kill is silent and surprising. Snapping the neck is the normal surprise attack, but cutting off the airway is always a good time. When I trained in Combatives, we used to knock each other out for fun. During that training I learned that my thumb is a deadly weapon.
