Default broken pump

well as some of you may know i have a viaaqua pump, its a good pump and gets the job done pretty well

wen i first got the pump one of the little notches that was holdin the plastic peace to the pump itself was a bit cracked...i havent payed much attention to it since i had very little pressure on it with my old setup

since im moving into my new case (lian li) and im making the setup extremely stelth..theres a quite some pressure at that point....so after screwing the barbs in and moving stuff around that little piece cracked some more...it shoudl still hold water with no leaks, but im a bit affraid that wen i carry my rig somewere (im a lan party person) the whole thing might come out

so my idea is to just epoxy the damn thing in place...i wont be able to take the pump apart ever again....but i wont have to worry about it spilling water all over my hardware...

i was wondering if you pimps & hoes have any feedback on gluening this together...maybe theres some other way that im not seeing right now?

I can't really tell what part of the pump we are looking at ClowN.

Is that little clasp helping to hold on the impeller housing?

If so, I would seal the impeller housing with Plumber's Goop. Water tight, yet you can still get it apart in a pinch.

Here is a guide to sealing the impeller housing on a DM pump ....... should be similar for your Via:

ClowN,
Hey bro...I just got through looking all over for a swiftec pump and I found this...
http://www.dtekcustoms.com/index.asp...PROD&ProdID=33
23 bux aint too bad and by time you get sealer, and the paranoia of did it get loose or whatever from transporting..."new" will let you game, and not worry...
just my way of thinking...

You have alot of tight bends in your system too...might try some TYGON R-3603 tubeing
very flexable and no sideload from it trying to fight your bends...

im gonna try to glue this sucker, if it dont work out right, then im gonna get either that or take a visit to petsmart for that mag drive pump ..might be cheaper cause shipping usially kills stuff

for tubing i have clearflex 60 1/2 tubing...is that worse then TYGON R-3603 tubeing ?
