Default My New Rig

I'm ordering the parts to build a new rig. Here are the parts that I have so far. Let me know if this setup is good or any other suggestions you may have.

Motherboard: Abit NF7-S
CPU: AMD 2500+ Barton
Memory: 1 gb Mushkin PC 3200 ram
Video Card: Radeon 9700Pro
Hard Drive: (1) 36 gb WD Raptor , (2) 80 gb WD 7200 RPM 8 MB Cache drives
Sound: On-board

Case, PSU and Heatsink/Fans are undecided at the moment..

Sounds good so far, 2 things I would slightly upgrade if your budget could stretch a little more...

Mushkin PC3500 Black (level 2)- Its alot more actually (315$), but if you plan on Maximum Overclocking for this combo, its the best memory for low latency at high FSB speeds that you can find.
The regular Black Mushkin PC3500 (level I) would be a good choice also for mild overclocking for about the same price as the PC3200 you selected(199$)

A 9800 Pro can be found for as little as 229$ at New Egg it's a nice little boost over the 9700 for just a few bucks more than the 9700 at 209$

Those are just minor things though..you can't go wrong with any of the parts you listed if your goal is keeping an eye on budget and leaving it near stock settings.

Nice choice of video card, 3 hard drives, thats insane lol. I heard when u have more than one hd connected to an IDE the speed is decreased(correct me if im wrong). But that comp should be good for just about anything..probably get a case that can be easily modded if you're into that...that's all of my suggestions

I haven't really got into modding things. I'm afraid of cutting my hand off or something, but I do love looking at the mods on this site.
