I've had a couple of users wonder how they are supposed to keep their home system clean from spyware/adware/viruses/unwanted stuff when they are acknowledged infants as far as technology goes. I can recommend spyware programs, virus scanners, but sometimes there just needs to be a knowledgeable pair of eyes in front of the pc with the knowledge of what to do/how to do it.

I just got off the phone w/one such gentleman. He was talking about contacting this online tech group that remotes into his home pc and does a general cleanup, but is feeling more than slightly insecure about the group, and wanted to know if I could recommend anyone - - else he might go with the 'geek squad' :loser: .

So, if there is anyone in the Columbia SC area who can help me out, whether yourself or someone who you can recommend to him, I'd really appreciate it. Let me know via pm or post on UW.
