Well, searching around the internet looking for video game news, let me stumble upon this little site where they did a feature on what they consider the 10 Most Interesting People in Video Games in 2005

You can see the list here

Didn't thik it was "news-worthy" material, but it definitely is an interesting read for anyone interested in gaming this past year...

Pretty interesting read. Saw some names there that I did not know, and some I did. Like Jack Thompson. That guy really went over the deep end. :crazy:

yeah he did. I didn't know a whole lot about him, because frankly..when people start blabbing about video games causing violence, breeding murderers, etc...i tend to zone out. I've heard it before, and i don't believe it. Heck, I didn't even know about that girl that "licked the psp," let a lone, got a job working at IGN because of it...that shows you...well...no, I won't say anything derogatory...that wouldn't be right.

But, yeah...it was a good read.

ah so the mystery is finally solved. never found out where the leroy jenkins thing came from. we got a badleroyjenkins in our sg and i recently teamed with someone in CoH that had a bind that screamed Leeeeroy Jenkins over broadcast, team, and local channels that went off whenever we went in to a mob . ..

yeah, i didnt' figure it out till just about a month ago Enko. its an interesting video to see... if you had no idea about MMORPGs you probably wouldn't think it was funny. But it is funny to see him go LEEEEROOOY JENKINNNNNSSSS!! And run rambo style into the mob of dragons...but, i don't see how it got so hyped up..
