Here is my XBox, I said I drive my wife nuts modding everything in the house and I had to share my XBox with you all.
First I lapped the sinks , I think the manufacturer used 36 grit sandpaper to finish them, they are polished now.
Added a CDRom and stealthed it * you push the camp fire to open the top section * so I could play my backup of my games. I don't like using the originals to play all the time, so I use my backups. You guys helped me figure out how to switch them off and on.....well after another $200. Got to turn off the 5 and the 12 volts.
I just put in a 80 gig HD and relocated it next the added rom in a hd cooler.
I have it hooked to my 53" tv using Monster cables HDTV cable. When I play Nascar or NFS2, I get dizzy when I spin out.
Well you all get the idea, it is not just another XBox, after I get the room done I will water cool it also, BTW we have the room framed now. This weekend we will install siding, wrap, windows, doors and start pulling wire and water lines.

KMGFX did all the airbrush work on this, only Ken is the dark and twisted. The added dimension he put on the top of the 'X' is awesome, you would swear it had eight sides.

Yeah, he really is amazing. Speaking of which, whats the status of my little project? Patience is a virtue and all, I know this, but damn! that Preview got my juices flowing big time! I keep thinking of wiring and how i can keep the interior as clean as possible, wahoo! cant wait!

Some of the staff has remained in contact with him. He has a lot going on that precludes PR. He sticks his head in once in a while.

With another CD-ROM and HD, did you have any problems with the PSU?

You're going to overclock it?
I don't know how good are Xbox PSUs, but I don't think it can handle the added drives and overclocking.
And I don't think Xbox PSUs are ATX, so good luck upgrading.

erok...chiquita brought this thread back. it had been dorment since october. i havent seen Insomniac on here in a couple months. if you remember he had surgury on his neck. hes probably been taking physical therapy along with work.

star...i dont think he was gonna overclock it. he was building a computer room in his house that he had planned on running watercooling lines to each system. as for an added hard drive. i think he replaced the hard drive that came with the xbox with the 80gig if i remember right.
