| Here's proof that you should wear safety gear , including shoes!! and you should never be in a shop if your not feeling good ( dizzy, light headed etc etc ) turned to get something and ran my toe across a piece of sheet metal!! Stupid me was barefoot and kinda light headed , so i got got for my lapse in judgement. Didnt get a close-up but it hit the bone and is 1inch long ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

| It'll buff out. Worst thing I think I ever did was inhale a whole lungful of Dremel dust when I did my Choppers Mod. I ate 5 wheels to do the Iron Cross all in a half hour and I stuck my head in to blow all the dust out and it didn't blow out the fan hole as I had planned. | ||

| I had a piece of a Dremel cutting wheel embed itself next to my eye once when I forgot to put the glasses on. Never forgot again. HTRN, I'll bet that didn't even hurt until about an hour later. Nasty gash. | ||

| Ouchie! That kinda makes me yearn for the porch back home... My refuge to smoke, drink, and mod (although not always in that particular order, but still...) Let's see here... Almost burned my hands when I was cutting some alum (it got HOT!) with my Dremel, AND about sliced one of my fingers off when cutting something else... Wore my gloves EVERY TIME after that... Had some fillings pelt me in the face another time, have worn goggles ever since Stepped on some shards and cut my foot open, wore shoes of SOME sort thereafter... Come to find out, I usually draw first blood (and the ONLY blood) in a mod project if I take a few minutes to gear up... | ||

| once i was using a pocketknife to pry something open (which is stupid already) and my hand was on the closing end of the knife. sure enough it closed on me and now i have a nice scar across my pointer finger on my knuckle. hit the bone and everything. and to top that off, i did it AGAIN a couple years later. good thing that time it wasn't as bad, just nicked off some skin. | ||

| Damn Mace that looks ugly. Hope it gets better quickly. I've gotten filing's in my eye's once before. Needless to say I've always worn goggles since. My 8th grade tech ed teacher though....sanded of 7 of his fingerprints and 2 fingers were nubblyish and 1 was half gone thanks to a table saw...one of the most amazing people I've ever met though. | ||

| had to get minor surgery to remove a piece of steel from my eye. still forget to wear safety glasses when i dremel though, even when i wear them all day. @Zero......that's a good way to ruin a knife........use it as a screwdriver instead. i've got 20+ scars on the right index finger alone from stunts like that. no brain, no pain......guess i'll never learn. | ||

didnt really care about the knife anyway, it was a POS pocket knife that i got from something like a magazine or something like that. snapped the corkscrew and flat head screwdriver. but it was still sharp enough to slice me like that. ![]() the knife is long gone though, threw it away about 2 years ago, it was completely falling apart. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
