So today I found out that I won the best car at my school and I will be in the yearbook, I guess it was a landslide and I won by alot. I was pretty happy then I come out after school to my car, all my friends are standing around and I have my keys in my hand and I look up and my car wasn't were it was when I left it!! My heart dropped and I guess I had the most shocked look any of my friends had ever seen. Luckily I looked around and saw my car on the other side of the parking lot and everyone started busting up. I guess I didnt hold the button on the door when I was shutting it and it unlocked when I shut it and my friends got in and they pushed it across the parking lot.

So it was all fun and games but now im pretty worried about my car getting stolen, my insurance only covers my car up to the bluebook price which is most likely pretty low for a 1967 Mustang. Are there any cheap GPS's that I could maybe stick under my fender when im parked at a pretty shady place so I can track my car if its gone when I get back?

What do you guys do?

Google vehicle trackers, the cheapest i've seen ran about $250.

I put in a hidden switch that i wired into the ignition wires, that way the car can only be started if the switch (under my dash) is on and the key is used. Just a cheap extra preventative.

I have something like that too, but im still worried someone will find it or something, im just shook up somewhat after this event.

For a few seconds I thought I lost my first and only car, so much work into it, its a little nerve wrecking.

Well we had a early day at school, and I dropped my friend off, and when I pulled out onto the street I noticed the guy was up the street! So I started following him hoping I could find out were he lives, but then he pulled into the mall so I ran home picked up some thick plastic wrap that they use at warehouses to wrap crates, went back the mall and this is what happened.
