just a few days ago there was a link to a site about tweeking out your modem any have that link i could have sworn i bookmarked but cant find it.I also tried digging it up in the archives ..i wasnt smart enough to find it.Any help is a big thanks.

that 1 was for extarnal modems....and it wont do much either, cause phonelines cant handle more then 53k

If you are refering to Cable or DSL modems, there are many great sites to get tweaks from,

Speedguide.net has some great stuff, used the regeistery tweaks and got a pretty good just on my cable speeds

also DSLreports.com is very good
