| Nice specs for a 939 rig, that's for sure... I think you'll find more often than not that you'll have to part the system out to get the $$$ you're after... Maybe not necessarily what you want to hear, but for the most part true. Folks will more often have money and interest for one or two specific components than for the whole thing all at once. Shipping also comes out cheaper, too... A good rule of thumb is to check how much your stuff is going for on sites like NewEgg, TigerDirect, ZipZoomFly, etc... Figure about 25% or more off for the parts being used, how much (average) it should cost to ship anywhere CONUS, and add about half of that to the 75% of original purchase price for a TOTAL SHIPPED price. When you get ready to start selling, be prepared to have some folks ask for you to ship first. Unless you have higher trader ratings (heatware is about the best, fleabay is about worthless)than your potential buyers, it's going to be a fact of life. You may get the one or two trusting souls who'll pay first and hope for the best. It's a gesture of good faith to offer to ship first, but that doesn't mean you have to hang it out there to someone you're not sure of. Ask the mods or admins, if the trader ratings here (or wherever) seem shady for someone you're going to possibly deal with. Be sure to read up on all the rules for using the Trading Post, ignorance will get you no breaks whatsoever, sorry. Finally, good luck with your sale(s) | ||
