I think I like Macs now

Just this week the CIS department at my college got a whole new lab worth of Mac Pros for their computer graphics department... about a dozen total... and the Quad core kind The school got them so they could use Photoshop and Maya on them. I mean, I've been a pretty die-hard PC enthusiast all my life... but these Mac Pros are freakin' sweet.

One of my CIS teachers here got an 8-core Mac Pro last semester, and that thing was a beast! Just all the things it could do was amazing. We also opened one of them up in Hardware/software last week, and I just love how clean and hidden everything is... really makes me wish I could afford one. These new Macs are fairly simple to use... still trying to adapt from my normal ways of navigating with Windows. And one cool fact I've learned already is that the OSX operating system is based on Unix!

Anyway, just thought I'd share to you all. I've never really been a Mac-hater... just never got into them until now. So my hat goes off to you tonight, Mac users. Maybe later I'll shoot a pic of the lab and show ya'll

weird, i accually got INTO modding through my first computer, a mac. imac to be exact, and the first mod of my life was to get the components into a power pc case. then the power supply broke, and then i bought a FIC ice cube.
