Who's coming to Comdex?

And now for my 1000th post...

I will not be attending the convention but thought since I live here anyway I'd like for us all to get together. We can work out the details later but I would like to know who is interested.

I've been informed it's only like a 5 hour drive from here... but more to the point, if I'm broke, it ain't happenin'... also depends on whether I'm able to find a second job or not... Anyway.

Hell recieved my pass friday. And I leave thursday for vegas

Hell, my insurance tripled due to my location change and the story goes downhill from there...

Dark, you ever think of that trip as a job finding mission? How many potential employers are going to be there? If all you got to do is cover the gas I think you would be remiss in bypassing the opportunity.

Do you really want to stay in Phoenix for any particular reason Dark? You may have better luck finding work here. I don't know what the job situation is here but it might be worth a shot.

I'de love to show up. Only problem though is that my company was just absorbed by another and I have the privelage of staying employed with the new company and we need to convert the old network over to the parent companies network by Thanksgiving. Would be an easy thing to do if we didn't have 5 different types of PC's by 3 different manufacturers. To compound this, a majority of our PC's are running P I and PII's... The list goes on. So far last week I pulled 2 16 hour days. Looking foreward to a spending atleast one full weekend doing 12 hour days and a couple of 12 hour days during the week. I shouldn't really complain though. Overtime rocks!

Well, due to some personal circumstances, I never sent for my pass. So, if I can get one at the door....I'm there! If not, I still want to hook up with ya'll for dinner/beers/etc!
