Ipod Cases: Armor, iSkins, Flipstand, Zip Case, Showcase

For those of you who own an iPod, you know that the 3rd party support for accessories is wild.

When I first received my iPod, my biggest concern was protection for this beauty.

I just wanted to share with everyone a picture that contained some of the popular cases for the 3rd Gen. Ipod.

The included picture contains the Matias iPod Armor, the Contour Design Showcase, the Speck Products Flipstand, Lajo's eXo iSkins, and the Maclear Zip case.

One case I forgot to put into the picture was the included leather case from Apple. That thing is back in the original box lol!

With as much as those things cost, that's a pretty good idea!

Yeah no kidding, the average cost of the cases is probably around $30. I believe the cheapest case I've ever seen for one of the newer iPods was $20...

The most expensive case is the iPod Armor which is around $50 lol

It's not about preserving the look it's about preserving the 300$ investment.

Yep, isn't that the truth. I think I'm going to start using the contour design case for awhile...the only downfall is that it seems this case will get dirtier easier than some of the others...

...and on the other hand the eXo iSkins pick up a lot of lint

Actually I know a lot of users who just use the zip case...works very well.

We iPod users also use a combo of saran wrap and screen protectors too lol
