Red face Congratulations MNPC!

I would like to give a big congratulation to our very own Bill Owen for getting a small section of Computer Games Magazine for his Dell Eater GT (103-104) in the case modding article they did. It's great to see a pimp get recognition for his work. Once again, congrats.

EDIT: The lil section on Bill goes as follows:

Dell Eater GT
MODDER Bill Owen
MODDING COST The original case i found used for $10. I invested $600 in hardware and sold it for $2000
CONSTRUCTION TIME 55 hours
URL mnpctech.com

The Specs
MSI K7T266 Pro2 motherboard, Gainwared Geforce 4Ti4400, Steinberg Pro sound, 52x CDROM, Audi Tornado w/ red & clearcoat paint, Quattro VDO volt gauge, Quattro door handle reessed w/ hidden exhaust fan, Golf headlight switch (activates internal blue cathold ray tube light) Eaton supercharger toggle switch, 2x80mm Laser cut "Turbine swirl" intake fan grills, cstomized HD coolre bay w/toggle in FD bay, metal mesh round IDE cables, Thermaltake Volcano6cu CPU cooler and active memory cooler painted "tornado red"

The Why
"Dell Eater GT is based on a friend's 1987 Volkswagen Jetta GLI, and utilizes parts he kept from his car. He wanted something on his desk in honor of the beloved car he lost. It was fun taking an outdated PC and modifying it with the latest hardware. I'd compare it to building a Street Rod out of a 1932 Ford Coupe. A lot of people really like the title, Deal Eater GT. I believe PC enthusiasts are tired of the blandness in mass-produced computers. Gamers want a PC that reflects who they are. I also grew tired of the 'Dell Guy' television ads."

thats it folks!

...You Go Bill !
*roaring applause*

Might as well take this opportunity to thank you, for making the products you do, available to the Pimps here first.

Doing business with you was really top notch. Not every day you get to chat on the phone to the designer of the products you buy.
Thanks again Bill, you got killer skillz, and are great to deal with.

count on my return business! mnpctech.com rockx!!

Ya, I agree, that is one of my favorite mods on this site and looks like he made a decent chunk of change from doing something he loves! It's always good hearing a pimp make some money through pimping

Thanks Gamma Goblin and fellow pimps!

Your support makes the long hours of building this stuff for people like you, worth it!

The writer, Raphael Liberatore had contacted me in mid August and needed the submission asap, and now here it is.. Shows ya what a crazy biz magazine publishing is.

I'll have to find out if Raphael Liberatore is lurking as a fellow pimp?!
