Petrol, gas cylinders and nails. Sounds like they were going for maiming rather than killing. That is just awful, luckily no one was harmed.

on a serious note, yep i was watching this this morning and it made me mad and sad at the same time!!

those bombs on the 7th july took the life of a close friends best m8!!
i always think of the families and friends etc that these awfull times affect!!

i'm so glad the bastards were foiled this time round!

They said there was 60 liters of propane in the Mercedes that was wired up. That much propan going up woul dhave done more than maim... especially with the nails acting as shrapnel.

I'm very glad that they found it BEFORE it went off and possibly hurt (or killed) anyone.

I thought I heard that two other areas with different suspicious vehicles were just evacuated. Any UK'ers here that know the whole story yet?

If this is true then it would have been like the July 7th bombing with three areas hit.

Now Glasgow took a poorly orchestrated car bomb attack. Witnesses say the two men apprehended were south asian looking.
