Seriously...if your kid is ever this bad, run down to the nearest hospital and get yourself sterilized. Once you do that, kick the kid out of the house, sell the house, and move without leaving a forwarding address.

Gah, the kids in those shows drive me INSANE, but to raise your kid to be such a spoiled brat... yeah. Wow.

Couple of things:

1. Why would you ever agree to go on Sweet 16, Jerry Springer, Oprah, etc...?
2. Why would you ever consent to having your child appear on said shows?
3. Why would you, even if you could afford it, give your 16yr old a BRAND NEW CAR?
4. Why would you ever raise your kids to act that way?
5. Why ask rhetorical questions?

I say we conscript them (parents AND kids) to serve in the USMC... and make them go through basic twice.

Then ship 'em off to the eastern front.

I guess i am glad i am broke (functionaly broke, my bills get paid) that way my kids dont EVER have that sense if entitlement. I have 2 girls (4 & 2) and if they EVER EVER did something like that, I would lose my mind in anger... Where has society gone when people think behaving in that way is acceptable? when i was 15 i worked my butt off so i could buy a car. and that little spoiled b!tch gets a Lexus SC430 (i think)! First off, it is not the kid in that video that should get beaten, well, maybe she should, but not until after her parents get theirs for raising such an ungrateful, selfish, spoiled beyotch. I mean, it's their fault she is like that, they raised her.

They should also get beaten for producing another useless, non-productive member of society, because that is what she is going to be unless someone gives her a wakeup call in a big way.

As for the actual question of beating your kids, I think it is quite humorous that the same people who complain to, or give dirty looks, to parents who's kids do not behave according to their standard are the also the first ones who would call the cops if you smacked your kid upside the head in public.

Most normal kids would be thrilled with a car, no matter what the age/color/condition.

I mean seriously, ever since kids started taking their parents to court for spanking them calling it abuse, our countries youth has further spiraled down the toilet drain. Granted there are boundaries to physical punishment of children, but very few parents ever exceed those minimums.

Huh, when I went to the grocery store with grandma the first thing I had to do before getting in the car was to go pick the switch I would likely get blistered with if I got out of line.

Screw it, I usually stay out of kid stuff because I don't have any, but beat the parents, then beat the kid. Then smack both of them again so they know you are serious.

Just for the record, that is an SC430 and the base MSRP is about $65,000...
