Deus Ex 3

Apologies if this was posted elsewhere or everyone knows about this and i'm the last person to find out. Appearantly work is underway on Deus Ex 3 and I'm psyched about it! I really enjoyed the original. I only played the demo of invisible war and I wasn't that impressed and appearantly the reviews weren't great either. Hopefully this one will make up for it.

So now I have this, hl2 episode 2 and bioshock to look forward to. Time to save some cash!

Hopefully deus ex 3 will be a better effort than #2,although corporate politics/$$$ played a major role in the crapiness of D'eX2 even though warren specter tried to do his best .

Funny how things are,3 of my alltime favorite titles are mentioned.

I was playing my coveted original cd of"system shock2" earlier this evening...Ahh ,the many...Lol

Thief 1 ,2and 3 ,deus ex 1&2 and System shock2 are still on my game rig's and played often!

System Shock 2 was definately one of my all time favorites and might just be the scairest game ever made. Im mostly an fps gamer but i could never pick a favorite. The half life series , deus ex, system shock 2 are all contenders but for different reasons. Bioshock is looking amazing too.

Deus EX is one of my favourite games, Deus EX 2 was boring (PC version). I'm with RBIEZE on this and I hope this one will be better. No Warren Spector and its being made by Eidos, so I'm not going to get my hopes up.

If it's not Ion Storm and it isn't Warren Spector, I'm expecting a poorly-written, rather boring X-Box 360 game that gets a half-arsed port to PC. Personally I thought DX2 was pretty good, but only when not compared to the original.

I agree with everything you say except I hated DX2 with a passion, because of the control system. Dear god how it sucked the life force out of me.

Warren Spector's doing a Source based game at the moment, which should be nice.

Neat, I always liked Deus Ex might have to play through it again....never ran through Deus Ex 2 played the demo and it kinda sucked (if I remember correctly there were some clipping problems)

I LOVED Deus Ex, and finished DX2 but it was nowhere near as good as the original. System Shock 2 was a scary masterpiece, even as old as it is, it's worth installing and playing it through. I loved all the Thief series, but I found the first one most immersive.

Deus Ex was actually my first foray into FPS, and I still love playing it. I never played the second, but I might... it would be nice to see this game go back to it's roots, I'm looking forward to it.

Well, everyone else seemed to love DX1, and it was GOTY in a few magazines, so....maybe you'll love DX2, cuz everyone else hated it!
