| Rite heres the game, Maze Game - App Dev, basically just want some simple user feedback, stuff like usability, comments, anything. I realize its pretty naff, thats what happens when you leave things to the last minute ![]() As its pretty last minute (report has to be submitted tomorrow) im willing to throw some hefty +rep at anyone who can give me some useful input. Ignore the competition shiznit, its not real, the design spec said it had to be semi promotion so I just made that bit up to meet that requirement. TIA ![]() | ||

| The game was a little hard for me I couldnt get passed the one red circle with the X on it. The game ends too soon, I got hit my one thing and game was over the controls wee very touchy, if you tapped the key for a little to long it would move were you didnt want it to. I like the game though, Its addictting | ||

| Initial thoughts... For a quickly thrown together job not bad at all Just the two levels so far?I know nothing about Flash games etc just for the record... 1) I would possibly make the start and finish a bit more obvious? Took me a few of seconds to locate the player character... could just be that im a bit lame :p lol 2) Maybe a bit of a pause between levels? 3) Something at the end... score screen or something... Like i say... not that i know that much, just my £0.02 Mark | ||

| Not bad, for being thrown together so fast. So heres the feedback: 1. As said before at first I could find my character, then i suddenly noticed it said start at the top right and the red thing moved when i press the arrows so yeah. 2. I really liked how you made the enemies in the maze move, as well as the lightning it really made it more i guess interactive? 3. I think maybe you can add i guess ranks for the amount of points you get like 1 - 100 = noob or something. 100 - 200 Novice etc. 4. Maybe add other things that give more points such as uh one pink dot that is 100 points that is extremely hard to get to, or something. But overall the game was pretty fun, and good work for a last minute thing. If you have more time I think you could maybe make the enemies look like something maybe get a sprite or something. And maybe even make the character look like something so it'd be easier to recognize. David | ||

| Thanks guys, some helpful stuff ![]() Im gonna be developing this game over the summer, hopefully getting it up to around 20 levels, totally revamping the graphics with nicely themed graphics and making some other changes. | ||

| Very nice game Umm, I do have some suggestions. Given that one hit kills you, perhaps to allow the user to have multiple lives? Oh, and when you die, how about restarting at the current level instead of beginning from level 1? Other than that, a pretty good game. | ||

| Very nice for something thrown together quick. As has been stated, I'd make the start and finish a bit more defined; perhaps a sort of legend which you can read as a pre-loader? Even if the game only takes three seconds to load, a pre-loader would be a nice way of presenting the object of the game, defining the different characters, how to move, etc, and then letting the player click "start" when they're ready to go. Since you're developing it, in addition to extra levels with the current play style, perhaps you could add a time trial style? Where the goal is to get through the mazes as fast as possible, and the fastest times are posted on a leader board. Also, some kind of background music and/or sound effects would add some depth to play. Good luck, look forward to seeing what you do with it! | ||
