| This is not my setup, but I thought it looked pretty tight. A friend of mine emailed this pic to me and it make me want to ugrade my rig to something similar......windows only supports up to 9 monitors per comp.....this guy clearly has @ least 6 comps and 11 monitors......If only they reallly made a flight simulator that would really work like that.....these are probably paused games made to look like just one. ![]() | ||

| Well it's hard to tell but it looks like only 9 of the monitors have the game on it, 1 looks like some other program (spred sheet or IE with the favorites open), and the one on the very top well I just can't tell what it has on it. So it might actually be what it looks like. | ||

| There is a flight sim that can handle just about as many screens as you can get your hands on. It's called X-Plane. check it out here http://www.x-plane.com/ it really is a pretty sweet game but I don't care to shell out $80 for it. And Monkey, the rest of the book is just as frightening. | IIRC, a game called Aces High also supports full surround monitors like that. grafx anre't too good but the realism flight-wise is INSANE! ((if you get shot the program recalculates the flight characteristics depending on the size and location of the bullethole and what exactly that would have damaged, etc... )) and it's WW2 fighters too.. | ||

| ONLY nine monitors with the game on it? Geez Mr. Dark, guy need an I-Max theatre to impress you?!? ;-) I would NOT want that dude's power bill... also, I guess they'd have to bury me in that room as I wouldn't be leaving it much... I'd look like Marlon Brando in like a month or two. | ||

| Chaz, I actually caught on article on bionics (was looking for interesting news material), they've figured out how to implant somethin' that will stimulate muscles to knit back together... it's still experimental though... they're saying it will be able to possibly regrow muscle tissue and cure certain crippling deformities... sounded pretty cool. Given enough time, I'm sure they'll figure out how to do eyes for us computer types ;-) | ||
