Are these two laptops any good?

A guy is wanting to trade me two laptops for my xbox 360. And i'm thinking about doing it and then just turning around and selling them but i know nothing about laptops and what they would go for.
But he said he'd trade me a Compaq Evo 1020V and a HP Xe3. Are these good laptops? And what do they go for used?

The Compaq is a machine from the Pentium 4 M era - so you're looking at 256mb RAM, 30gb hard drive and some craptacular performance. As for the HP...well....Pentium 3 anyone? These are pretty old machines.

Old laptops still sell pretty well on eBay - you might get $400 for the Compaq and $250 for the HP, but it's up to you whether you think it's worth the hassle.
