For those of you who like gaming, but don't check out GameApex that often, here's a link to a nice thread about STALKER:

Dangit! I wanted to type a reply but I have changed my password here since the sites became one and don't remember my password for Gameapex... nor my registration email address.
So until I talk to Spectrum or GK, I cannot log in over there so....

Would a PhysX card based system alleviate a lot of the high settings issues people are having with lower end cards?

Probably not, since the game doesn't support it.

(could be wrong, idk)

Well I know that supported games will run the best, but wouldn't taking some of the load off the vid card still help, even if not optimized?
I admittedly haven't researched the PhysX card all that much.
