Default Firing Squad are OC n00bs.....lol

Well reading all the brisbane reviews that have been poping up all around and noticed one major difference in two, showing the n00bness of OCing some sites have, comparedto the really awesome work some sites can do with stock cooling.

Now i read the review and i know firing squad had alot of issues with the board, but thats there prooblem i can still laugh at it.

FiringSquad: Home of the Hardcore Gamer - A word from our sponsors

So they got up to 2837 with 1.56vcore

AnandTech: AMD's 65nm Brisbane Core Previewed: The most energy efficient AMD CPU to date

But he got 2925 with 1.47vcore

Notice a little lack of knowledge in firingsquads OC department, i mean damn, even some certain 3rd party homemade reviews can get better OC's than that, i bet cnet can OC better......

Luck of the draw maybe? Perhaps they got a crapy chip. You should link them to that other OC on their forums, I'm sure they'd appreciate it

edit - Lol I just read coweaters post haha. tbh I didn't even look at the second one o_0

Yes i see this, I was looking at the voltage it took them to not even acheive what anadtech got with less voltage. That was my major wonder on why it was so bad. Maybe they got a cheaper stock cooler too? I dunno i thought it was humorous

A lot of things can account for the difference in volts. And the OC for that matter.
I gained a extra 400 MHz just from switching to a different mobo which also
required less voltage to reach the higher numbers.
