Which 2600? I've pushed my 2600/333 over 500 Mhz stable. Starts to get a wee bit warm at those speeds though. I'm sure it would have climbed above 50C without all my fans on high. I normally run at 10x217 at stock voltages. Lot's of room to play with.

A lot depends on your chipset and ram as to how high it will go.

i saw a cut 2600 go to 2505 on a nf7-s with a volt mod (it's not my board, i did that v-mod myself). and run all day. had a slk-800a with a vantec 92mm fan. i will get the exact specs when i go to work tomarrow.

I think Rust is refering to PCDOC the guy that owns most of the company and us for that matter in the overclocking world. The man is insane. Here are the screen shots of that 2600 and his newest 875 rig. look at them scores. True nerds start creaming at this page

Copy all four parts of code on your athlon sticker to the boxes at this site, Athlon XP Processor Identifier.
I will then find out how much overhead for overclocking you should have using This Guide.

Example, my 2100+ below:
Overclocks from 1.73GHz stock
to 12x200 (2.4GHz) with ease.

Swanny, Are your AGP and PCI speeds locked at default 66MHz/33MHz when you overclock or do they change when you enter a new FSB value?

Missed your previous post.
Look for something like Voltage/Frequency Control.

Set the AGP manually to 66MHz after you set your fsb to the desired overclocked speed. Check every menu for PCI speed.
If you don't find it you either (1) don't support PCI operating speed adjustment or (2) the option is listed.
