Default 2500 barton at 2600 mhz

last night i was in the mood for overclocking my barton some more. i have a 2500+ stable being recognized as a 3000+. so i thought what the heck. w/ my new swiftech watercooling w/ a black ice radiator at work cooling my system i found myself in the bios. i reached 2222mhz w/ a 12x mult. and 200 fsb and was flipping out. here to find myself at 5 in the morning at a 13x mult. and 210 fsb. my voltage was really tweaked too. 2.1 core voltage to be exact. so theres some info for anyone who is wondering possibilities of what a 2500 can do.

What's your cooling setup? Do you have pictures of this? WCPUID or CPU-Z?

That's a buttload of MHz. We'd love to see some proof...

Highest I've got my 2500+ was 2158mhz @ stock voltage. (166*13). I don't want to destroy my little Barty like I did to my little Throughbred awhile back.

banana boy- in my first post i said it was a 2222 mhz at 200fsb and12x mult. accually man if you hit that i was at a 2400mhz clock. so if you want to thats a narly clock settings to try around since you said you had it up to 2158. my temps are at a stably 39-40 degrees when i had it at 2600. i'm running an abit nf-7, 2 sticks of 512 kingston ram 9500 pro and like i said the mcw5000 swiftech cpu cooler. GREAT system. props to swiftech for that one.

Nice job. Of course you know they are going to require Cam Shots and proof. I know that this is entirely possible. I had my Barton 3000 up to a 220 FSB using a mere 1.75 volts. Of course thats in airconditioned room and using Danger Den Maze 3.

Okay cat out dROCK is one of my Techs for the store. He's also a friend of mine that practically lives here. My 5th son hahaha. Anyways. A die hard attitude from years of motorcross racing tells this guy that nothing is impossible. The poor kid stayed up all night workin on this. I literally threw pages upon pages of of overclocking how to's and forum threads full of stats to read. Hard to belive that a mere 2 1/2 monts ago this kid new **** about computers. Now hes kicking ass in UT and BF1942 as well as overclocking one pimp ass system. I guess when you hang witht the right people you learn fast hahahaha. Hes using an aluminum case that We built at the store. Its got the swiftech water kit in it. With the MICRO RADIATOR! yes the micro. nothing extreme. His temps for this feat never got higer than 46C of course note the room is at 22C AC is always on high. 5 pc's in here. heres the stats for his OC that I am personally verifying as legit. And yes it boots and runs

CPU is a Barton 2500
Mobo Abit NF7-S
Memory Kingston DDR 400 w/heat spreader
Nothing in the PCI slots
FSB was 222
Mulitplier was 11.5
Volts were 2.1 CPU (scary)
Memory was 1.7
divider was 3/4

Heres the screen cap from AMDCPUID
I had to crop it for him to fit in PR. The original is available in full size and res for the doubters out there.
GOOD JOB dROCK
You da man.
