Question nforce vs via

i was just wondering if anybody could tell me how much worse a via kt400 chipset is at overclocking compared to the nforce2. i was hoping to get my asus board up to 400 fsb with a 2500xp 333. is this possible with my chipset?

Maybe, but I'd go nForce 2 anyway. They can be had for a really good price these days.

...even with ddr400 and direct die cooling, and up to 1.95core vt, on my epox board, 187 fsb is the best I can muster. Same CPU so I'm gonna get a nForce ll chipset

KT400's can't hit 200FSB, and that goes for all of them. I am not too sure about KT400A's though, but I'm sure it's the same thing. If you want 200FSB you have to go nForce2/ nForce2 400.
