wanna know if this system clock and system bus are standard for a 1700+ or is it oced.

Yes it is, 133x2 = 266 fsb, but Im sure there are others here who can splain it better , chip is at stock though.

If anything, it's a little under spec.

yeah im with Foe. were you running anything else when you ran wcpuid? ive heard if you that it reads it a little slower. but other than it being a smidge underclocked it looks normal to me.

that's about as stock as stock gets,
however the system clock should be closer to 133.34mhz

hmmm all right guys. yeah i was runnin some things, like iexplorer and my computer. didnt think that would affect it.

might just be the board. not all boards run at exact spec so ive noticed. my board runs a 167 when i set it for 166 fsb. so id have to say its just the board.

hey it says yer 1700+ XP doesnt support SSE. I thought all XP chips supported SSE

i bought this system b4 i new anything about modding, i was just begining to learn about ocin but didnt know what boards were good or even that there were diff types of procs. i think it was the begining of 2002 when i bought this system not qutie sure though. when i bought it i due know that it was one of the best because all there was above it was the 1800 and 2000 so it was one of the best at the time.

they do support sse but not SSE2, those are both good OC's guys, keep up the clocks.

Yea, if you look at red's very first post, the pic, where it says SSE its says Not supported..I think thats odd for an XP processor
