| i have an epox 8k9aI mobo with 512 pc2100 ram and a 2100+ @158x14 or 2212mhz. i was wondering if there was a way to have different fsb speeds for the cpu and the ram? my ram doesnt go very high so i was wondering if i could get more out of my cpu without buying new ram. | ||

| Apex Master Tech Apprentice | One thing you should note though: AMD warns against having a different CPU FSB from your mobo/RAM FSB, as it is a hinderance to performance. For maximum performance, keep the FSB of your RAM the same as your CPU, and if you need to OC your proc try the multiplier. | |
