146 compatability

Ok, time for a cpu to conplete my machine, i have the ABIT Fatal1ty AN8-SLI ( font cahnged cuase i copied and pasted ), i was wondering is there any certian way taht you can tell if it will work, or will it jsut work anyways, being a 939 cpu, and going into a 939 socket. FIRST POST

It's pretty much self explanitory like your post.....

A 939 cpu goes into a 939 socket mb
That goes the same for a 754mb with a 754 cpu.
Both the cpu and the mb have to the same otherwise the pin layout on the cpu wont match with the motherboard.

He meant will it run properly. It should. I think a few people have that board here and run opties.
