Default 3400+ oc/ing (work in progress)

i have my 3400+ (newcastle) running at 215 x 12 (HT @ 4) and was wondering should i push it more
i recently (2 days ago) put in a triple rad w/c system and the temp went down from 44 idle to 29 and load from 64 to 33
i realy want to push it to 250 x 11 but would this be a good idea and would it be worth it
would love to get it to 250 x 12 but is this a longscaped dream
(asking the experts

If you can hit 2.75Ghz without running insane voltages, then yes I would say go for it. Keep your temps below 50C.

What core is your CPU? What kind of Motherboard?

newcastle core (130nm) and i got a triple rad antartica (new one) watercooling set
asrock mobo (due to lack of money and fear of leaks (first proper oc and ventrure into liquid cooling)

I dunno if you'll be able to hit 2.75 with that processor...it's Socket 754, right? If that's the case, I say good luck. It wouldn't hurt to try though.

I could barely hit 2.42 with my old Newcastle 3200+, but it looks like you'be gotten yours higher than that.

I'd say 11x250 should be ok, its only a 350MHz O/C. As Ator said watch your temps and you should be fine.

That sounds like a motherboard issue. Nice overclock, though!
