Default I need help getting to 2.7Ghz and above

I have finally reached 2.6Ghz with my AMD Athlone 64 bit 3000+ E3 core better known as the Venice core. Well before I get into it, let explain and list my hardware I have.

AMD 3000+ (Venice core)

DFI Nf4 UT Ultra

1GB OCZ Premier

Gigabyte 6600GT

Stock chipset cooler

60mm delta fan on GPU

92mm blowing on GPU/chipset at the monument

I have set the multiplier to 9x, and the FSB ratio to 3:4. And I am at a 289 FSB.

So its 9 x 289 = 2601Mhz

The CPU voltage is 1.55 although I feel it can be set at a lower voltage*

The chipset voltage is set to 1.6V

LDT is 1.2V- when ever I change the LDT voltage I find that the computer doesnÂ’t like to boot up.

Also because the RAM is not as good, I need to put most of the load onto the CPU and not the RAM.

BTW the computer is now water cooled CPU. RBX block with no flow changing peaces and 1250 pump. I have at 2.6Ghz a load temp of 36C and idle temperate of like 28C.

Can any one help me. I am also no sure what the LDT is, so I have set my LDT to FSB ratio to auto and LDT voltage doesnÂ’t like to be changed so its at it stock 1.2V

HELP I want to reach a 2.7Ghz and one day a 3Ghz speed with this bad boy.

The LDT ratio should be at 4 for 220-250FSB and 3 for above 250FSB.
I have used up to 1.5v for my LDT without issue, I don't know why you would have problems.

Getting 2.7GHZ is probably within reach, but you may need to bump the cpu voltage to 1.6v.

You could also try 1.7v for the chipset, or change the memory ratio to 1/2 instead of 3/4 to elimanate the ram as the thing holding you back for testing purposes.

3GHZ is not likely to happen with that CPU, you might wanna check out the Opteron 146 CABYE
