The egg has those for $206, which seems like a relative deal to me. I'm thinking about a capacity upgrade for the opteron system.

At least things are much better with the a64 memory controller. I haven't seen the runaway page files I had on the barton.

See the problem is that I'm getting some iteration of my sockA setup going again (on a new (to me) nf7-s) and therefore need some sticks for the opteron. And while I'm doing it I'd like to do 2GB this time. I suppose I could just get a cheap 512MB stick for the 4th box and be happy since it will be more of a file server than anything...
