| Apex Techie Wannabe | Hi, Just got my rig running today and am not so familliar with the new bios options. I'd like to hear from someone with this board how they have their bios settings. It'd probably save me a lot of grief if I could get some already working suggestions. Thanks! MM | |

| Captain Planet was nice enough to write all of his memory settings down he used for the memory using BH-5, it's on the "Tight" side so you may have to loosen a few things, it's very similar to the settings I use. Memory Voltage: 3.2 Command Per Clock (CPC) Enable Cas Latency Control (Tcl) 2.0 Ras# to Cas# delay (Trcd) 2 Min Ras# active time (Trp) 2 Row Precharge time (TrP) 2 Row Cycle Time (TrC) 7 Row refresh cycle time (Trfc) 12 Row to Row delay (Trrd) 00 Write recover time (Twr) 02 Write to Read Delay (Twrt) 01 Read to Write Delay (Trwt) 02 Refresh period (Tref) 3120 cycles Dram Bank Interleave: Enable DQS Skew Control: Increase Skew DQS Skew Value: 255 Dram Drive Strenght: Auto Dram data drive strenght: Level 3 Max Async Latency: Auto Dram Response time: fastest ( not sure if your bios has this) Read Preamble time: Auto Idle cycel limit: 016 cycles Dynamic Counter: Enable R/W Queuew Bypass: 16x Bypass max: 07x 32 byte granularity: Auto ( Note: I disable it!) In the thread below are screenshot for the settings I used at 3GHZ with an Opty 146. http://forums.pcapex.com/showthread.php?t=57113 And here is a more "Generic" thread on the subject that covers TCCD based memory too. http://forums.pcapex.com/showthread.php?t=56437 | ||

These are SUPER SUPER Tight and I doubt many could run these timings at those speeds. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Apex Techie Lite | http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=38 Have a look on here. They don't have your exact memory type, but they've got settings for OCZ pc4000, so you should be able to tweak the settings for that to get it right for your ram. I used a mixture between the DFI-street settings and the default ones, mainly cos i didn't like the idea of copy/pasting someones elses settings. | |
