| Ok I am fairly new to overclocking and I have ran into a problem. I was messing around with overclocking and I found out that I cant get my computer to boot if I have my 3700+ overclocked past 2.4ghz. I should be able to overclock farther then that. Could it be my ram? I have a mismatched pair of 512mb of some value then 512mb of corsair xms. I have a zalman 7000B-Cu for cooling so I dont think thats it. I havent messed with the voltage at all should I try raising it? I have a evga nforce 4 sli motherboard. Any help would be greatly appreciated. | ||

| Give the CPU a tiny voltage boost, and put the RAM at 2.8v. If your case has good cooling, you will be just fine with that voltage. Next, try turning down the RAM to DDR333 (166Mhz), and set the timings to 3-3-8-3. You should be able to run up to a 240FSB if you run the RAM at DDR333. | ||
