I've Seen the Light!

Before today, I've never really even touched the whole concept of overclocking...but i was feeling that it was my duty to try it because im a member here, and only no0bs dont try overclocking at least once. my one question is: is it supposed to be this easy? i have a pentium 4 3.0E (yeah, i know, northwoods are better for oc'ing) and was able to get it to 3.6 with very little effort and only a 2 degree increase in temps with my kingwin aquastar entry level watercooler. here's a screeny of my cpu-Z

and another question...should i mess with the memory settings too? i havent at this point.

Sweet OC man, but why dont you put it in the Intel OC forum instead of the AMD?

A mod would have to do that, but one is bound to notice sooner or later

Do you notice any performance increase in 3dmark05 and etc with the OC?

the only bechmark ive tried with my now 3.85 Ghz pentium 4 (1.5vCore)(256mhzFsb) is super pi...45 seconds to 39 seconds...not bad...

Oh, ps... runs at 32 degrees idle and 44 under load...not bad for a prescott proc.

plus, a bump for a mod to move this to the right forum because im stupid!
