Default help with HP computers

i have a Hewett packard computer,d4100e series with a radeon xpress 200 chipset and ive been wondering if i have the abilty to overclock cause its a company made Pc



and if i can how would i access my bios cause i can only acess the ones that tell you about the drivers (cd drive dvd drives and ports)

I'd guess that they didn't build in any overclocking options. Which is understandable on their part; I imagine providing tech support for most users is hard enough without, "I set the FSB to 350 and now it won't boot!".

Looks like a nice PC anyway, though -- gotta respect HP for putting Athlon64's in there.

Can't say for sure how the BIOS is on yours, but I just worked on a friend's Gateway; and to get into the BIOS on that one, I had to hit Tab at startup to bypass the Gateway logo screen, then hit Delete immediately to get into the BIOS.

According to this page, you access the BIOS by pressing the F1 key during bootup.

HP's support page for your d4100e has a series of links to manuals etcereras, as well as articles regarding the BIOS.

yea i dont know etheir,i agree pretty darn smart on there behalf and thanks for the welcome
if anyone figures out anyrhing else that would help me start overclocking this beast i would be grateful though
