| OK I'm researching mobos after finally having enough cash to start building a decent system. So, simple question: what exactly does the extra $16-30 dollars the A8N_SLI Deluxe costs get you that the normal model lacks? I've been studying up, and I swear I must be missing something somewhere... | ||

| As near as I can tell, the difference is 1 IDE connector vs 2. And even that might be wrong. Everything else appears exactly the same... I know there wouldn't be much quality difference... most companies run them off on the same assembly lines, so they want minimal differences in production just for monetary reasons. But this is the best place to ask such things, overclockers know motherboards in a way just short of biblical. (At least I hope to God...) Anyway I'm not some fool with ideas of "future proofing" pipedreams... just the A8N-SLI seems to be good for "future migration" to be compatible with the next generation of components that my current system just won't be able to use. | ||
